Our half term in Scotland

We had the best week away in Scotland for our February half term, I didn’t want it to end.  We had some beautiful weather, walking along the beach looking for shells and little creatures hiding in the rocks.  We also had some extremely wet weather too, but that didn’t stop us from exploring ruined castles and jumping in the muddy puddles!  We sat in the comfort of our beautiful cottage watching the sunrise and sunset each day, it really was the most relaxing and recharging holiday we have had in such a long time and was definitely more than ready for it.

I really couldn’t do the holiday the justice it deserves by just writing about it, so I will let the photographs do the talking for me.  Here are just some of the many photo’s we took on our week in Lochgilphead in Mother Browns cottage…

Have you been on holiday recently?  Where have you been with your toddler that you would recommend?  We’re always looking for new places to visit!

  1. sounds like you had a really great time despite the rain – Lochgilphead is beautiful – I was lucky enough to go to University in Scotland – many happy memories and holidays since then… your post reminded me I need to plan a trip north of the border …
