November in a picture

I can’t believe it’s the 30th November!  They say a picture paints a thousand words, so I thought I would share our seasonal wall art activities to give a little snap shot into late October and the month of November.

Painting and messy play are some of our favourite things to do, especially when the weather stops us from having fun outside.  The autumn months are perfect for creating some brilliant art work, the colours are so warming and with the leaves falling it is an excuse to paint with materials other than a paintbrush.  We have painted with leaves, stamped with twigs and cooked in Ellie’s play kitchen with conkers we have collected whilst out on wild and windy walks.

I really don’t think I could choose a favourite activity we have done this past few months.  I especially liked making the hand print bunting for Halloween, but painting with the leaves was really good fun too!

I’ll be sad to take it all down but I’m so excited to start the Christmas crafts!  Most of the activities are pinned on my Pinterest page, so if you’d like to get creative on time for Christmas then feel free to take a look here.

  1. It looks like you’ve had a lot of fun – can’t beat a bit of painting especially if the weather’s horrible. Did you make the squirrel too? Love bec xx
